This facial cleanser is a part of my daily routine. True Aveeno facial cleanser nice and simple
Aveeno doesn't have much strong or distinct scents to begin with. It feels extremely nice to use since it is a foaming cleanser.
Aveeno positively radiant skin#
I'd only recommend this if you have fairy normal skin and plan to use it in the morning. It comes out as foam and it feels extremely soft to use, so I was a bit surprised that it left my skin dry. I do love the way it feels on my skin though. It still dries out my skin though! So it's at a balance between: too weak to wash makeup and too harsh that i dries out my skin. I would still end up with panda eyes going to bed if I relied solely on this wash. It cleans oil pretty well, but it cannot get rid of any type of waterproof liner. I understood that this is a daily cleanser, so it shouldn't have a high content but it does nothing at all for my acne. I also bought this because it claimed to control my break-outs, but I don't know what I was expecting the salycic acid is 0.5% I believe, which is extremely low compared to other acne medicine. This type of foaming cleanser (texture and gentle smell) is what I was looking for. I wanted a gentle cleanser for my acne-prone skin. True Good to use for morning, but doesn't do much. I notice it while I am washing my face but it doesn't stay on my skin after I rinse it off. It has a very light sort of perfume scent to it. It is very easy to wash your face with and rinses off easily. I pump the bottle one time and that is plenty to wash my face with. I have yet to see an improvement in the dullness of my skin though so hopefully that improves soon. My skin never feels dry or tight after use and I have noticed a slight improvement in the dry patches on my cheeks.Īfter about a month I am just starting to notice less dry areas on my cheeks. It is not a cleanser that gets all bubbly or foamy, it is very silky and sort of glides across the skin. One squirt is plenty to wash your entire face. I have dry cheeks and overall dull skin and have been trying tons of different cleansers looking for one that works well for me. I bought this cleanser about a month ago and so far really like it. Granted, I only purchased one bottle of this and did not try again, so maybe I just needed to use it for longer, but I didn't really enjoy the cleanser, and I didn't really see any improvements from this, so I would likely not try again.
The real disappointment of this was that I just did not notice any improvements in my skin tone. I also really like thatdeep-down tingly clean feeling when I wash my face, this cleanser did not provide that either. I really like a facial cleanser that provides a really thick, creamy lather - and this just did not. This product seemed to work well enough as far as a cleasner, but it was nothing more than average. I definitely believed that this product would make my face brighter, and more radiant, immediately! In the case of this product - Aveeno Positively Radiant Cleanser - I was convinced I needed it. Any time there is a new product with a fantastic claim, I am always more than willing to try it. I am pretty sure I am a marketer's dream customer.
